I like to stay in Sonas because I enjoy the sense of timelessness and peace. I especially love looking at the stars before I go to sleep through the window above my warm comfortable bed. Being at Caraíosa gives me the space to really access my deeper self. The peace and quiet of the garden opens me to a deeper connection with nature that I find really healing. I look forward to returning again and again.

From the moment you get your first glimpse you know you have arrived at a special place....the first thing you notice is the absolute silence. Caraiosa is a lovely oasis of calm in an otherwise frenetic, chaotic, busy world where there is very little time for any of us to just be and get to know our inner selves. We all need a Caraiosa in our lives and I cannot wait to return.

The accommodation, the food, the setting, the whole experience was relaxing, peaceful and I just didn't want to leave. I was made feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door, and I was so comfortable. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside-no noise of cars or buses-- just silence.
